Located on the shores of Lake Superior with a view of the Apostle Islands, this modern, full-service clinic is created for all, inspired by the community, and open to everybody.

Advancing the scope of healthcare

Built to replace the small clinic originally established in 1992, this much larger facility offers services that were previously unavailable in the area. Now both Tribal and non-Tribal residents can benefit from care given by board-certified doctors in the fields of primary care, family medicine, pediatrics and dentistry.

In addition to 26 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, and eight dental rooms, the clinic also features a radiology department, lab, pharmacy, mental health facilities, and a physical therapy department.

The clinic is a single-story steel-frame and glue-laminated wood structure. It will be powered, heated, and cooled by a state-of-the-art geothermal well system that’s supported by a backup generator for emergencies.
