LCO Housing Remediation

The LCO Remediation project was a multi-phase, single-family home renovation.

The homes were demolished down to the studs and foundation. A mold mitigation and removal team disinfected the homes to make them safe. The LCO Housing Authority took the time to fix moisture issues to ensure the homes would be safe and mold-free. Once this was accomplished the houses were rebuilt. We used high quality materials including zip Sheathing, spray foam insulation, and Marvin windows to ensure a high R-value and make the homes less expensive to heat. No-maintenance metal roofs were installed so LCO Housing could ensure a leak-free roof for 30+ years. Each house had its own hurdles. Everything from structurally weak foundations which were shored up or demoed down and repaired, to rotted studs, trusses, and subfloors which were torn out and replaced.
