The Leech Lake Veterans Cemetery is the first Veterans Tribal Cemetery in Minnesota and the 12th in the nation.

The cemetery consists of an administration building, covered storage bins, and a public gathering space with a committal service shelter. Also included are 64 columbarium containing cremation niches, and a memorial wall and walkway. The site has 419 traditional gravesites, with 32 in-ground cremation sites.
